About Us

Our Story

The vision of TPG Orphanage was first conceived in
December 2002 when a deep desire to support vulnerable children
was placed in the heart of our founder, Mr. Olusegun Ogungbe.
Guided by compassion and a strong sense of purpose, he began the journey of
planning and preparation in February 2003.

After years of dedication and perseverance, the orphanage officially opened
its doors on 1st December 2008. Shortly after, on
19th December 2008, the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social
Welfare granted approval for the admission of orphaned children, marking the
beginning of a life-changing mission that continues today.

The orphanage home, known as Adedapo Omolabake House, was named
in honour of the founder’s late parents, whose legacy of kindness, generosity,
and community service continues to inspire the work carried out at
TPG Orphanage.

Today, the orphanage stands as a beacon of hope — a place where
children are not only cared for but empowered to dream, learn, and thrive.
